Love this kit because of the color scheme. I left off 1 star because the four light tubes for the guns make the white part of the gun mount glow (see pic). Would have preferred a gun effects board and bit lights. Great kit and not hard to install.
Easy to string up for a Briksmax version or maybe I’m just getting better at it!

The iconic X-Wing! How can you improve on perfection? Well Lightailing crushed it! The lights on my X-Wing add a dimension that I've never seen from a LEGO set. Once I got the hang of the lighting, it was smooth sailing! I chose to do my build and the lighting system at the same and it seemed easier to do than installing them after the build. This was my first foray into any kind of LED lighting and I was very nervous. However, the instructions were clear and easy to read and understand. I smile everytime I see my X-Wing with its glowing lights. Try it out and I would put cold, hard cash down that you'll want to light up all your displays. Happy building ya'll!
Very good lighting effect using the blue engine lights. Takes time to get the install and particularly be careful connecting to the connection board - magnifying glass is useful ! I installed the engine lights from the back rather than have wire visible outside the model and it works fine, Using a mobile phone battery pack gives a brighter light, Overall very good effect.
