Lighting kit took a long time to arrive. Based on the online tracking, the shipping from China to US and getting through customs was only a few days. The local delivery (from GoFoDirect) afterwards was poor, spending six days at the destination city going out for delivery and back to the sorting center a couple times before finally getting delivered.
The lighting kit itself had ok instructions in the box. Since you need to partially disassemble the Logo structure to route the wiring and replace some pieces with LED versions, keep the original Logo instructions handy.
One problem was the light on the rose. The instructions have you put an LED enhanced piece on the top of the rose cover, but that piece won’t fit because of the LED. I looked at the line pictures of the kit and the LED light is not installed on top, but rather inside the rose dome. See picture attached.
Other than that, everything else installed and worked fine. I’m pleased with the finished kit.

Yes. Our light kits are designed to be installed on completed LEGO® sets. You may need to temporarily remove a few bricks during installation, then put them back in place.
Power options vary by light kit. Depending on the product, the kit may use USB power, a battery box, or support both. Please check the product details for the power option included with your specific kit.
Only if you choose to power the light kit with a battery box. Batteries are not included. For kits that support USB power, you can connect them to a compatible USB power source instead.
