Great set at a really great price! I have 6 light sets on other Lego builds from various brands, including Lightailing. This one was unique as all the LED nodes came already together on one long “string”. No having to insert connectors into expansion boards. That made putting this kit together super easy! The lights and color choices are really great. Definitely would recommend!

I consider myself an avid lego collector, and use many of my sets as household decorations. When I saw LEGO made the Rivendell set I knew I had to enhance it with lights.

While instructions clearly aren't meant for the faint at heart (as taking the set apart and drawing the cables takes a decent chunk of time and finesse), the end product is nothing but spectacular.

One of the cable heads fell off during assembly, and when notified they instantly sent me a new one free of charge. Excellent service, and I will return for other light sets.

This kit was very easy to install. The leds are very bright and very well integrated and the wire lengths were perfect for a clean install. My kit included a paper instruction set which I preferred to looking up the instructions online. The only dislike is the battery pack. The on switch is on the same end as the USB plug. For the battery pack to fit in the vehicle with the lights on, the USB plug sits over the mid bulkhead between the front seats, with the pack in the rear. This means to press the switch the battery must be fully removed from the rear. Compare this to my technic defender kit, the switch is on the opposite end of the battery, so I can open the rear door and switch on or off the battery without having to remove it. Much more convenient.

Ideas to improve this kit or make a premium version. I would prefer warm white lighting to cool white. Cool white is not realistic to the vehicle. Also I would love a controller with sound capability for some off-road exploration sounds and a blinking mode where tail lights and turn signals could blink to simulate a vehicle.

I'm very happy with this kit as-is, but there definitely could be a premium version.

Finally bought the light kit for my Razor Crest. It is a very involved process, but absolutely worth it. THe detail this kit brings out in the set is worth every penny and then some. Just make sure you set aside a few hours, have really good lighting, and follow the directions exactly.

I love the lights for the Mandolorean star fighter. They really bring this Lego set to life! Always fun putting light kits on good luck and build on.

Looks great, just a bit tricky to set up, maybe can make the instructions a bit more detailed with a description as well as pictures. Great product!

Con il kit di luci il set Apollo 11 è diventato spettacolare. Il kit è un ottimo prodotto, ben fatto e con istruzioni di montaggio chiare. Io sono molto preciso e in alcuni punti gli incastri non sono più perfetti per via del passaggio dei cavi delle luci quindi credo che modificherò qualche mattoncino per renderli perfetti!

It’s everything I wanted out of a light kit and then some. Everything seems like really good quality. Lights are bright but not too bright. The remote is cool. Highly recommend!

Pretty straightforward instillation. Bright but not too bright. Will be buying lightailing kits for all of my sets from now on.
