The Briksmax kit is good - love the use of colored lights. I do NOT like the use of adhesive pads since I build kits several times (I glue LEGO pieces where I can to light strips). The new reversible plugs are great. The newer block parts for dot lights and wiring are very helpful. I especially really like the clear dot light block part in the Knight Bus BX728 with slots for wires.
I purchased the light kit for the Harry Potter, Hogwarts Castle Lego set, 76435, to be built with the lights at a time in my future when I am retired and have the time to build all of my Lego sets.
From the pictures included on the Lightailing website, I look forward to adding these lights and really enhancing the features and characteristics of the set.

Yes. Our light kits are designed to be installed on completed LEGO® sets. You may need to temporarily remove a few bricks during installation, then put them back in place.
Power options vary by light kit. Depending on the product, the kit may use USB power, a battery box, or support both. Please check the product details for the power option included with your specific kit.
Only if you choose to power the light kit with a battery box. Batteries are not included. For kits that support USB power, you can connect them to a compatible USB power source instead.
