The installation went well, except that one of the wires broke and I had to reattach it with my iron. The wires get hid pretty well. Could use a dimmer, and the border lights don't really highlight the center area very well. The instructions were very detailed and made it hard to mess up. The quality was there, could just use some tweaks to perfect it. Overall satisfied.

Yes. Our light kits are designed to be installed on completed LEGO® sets. You may need to temporarily remove a few bricks during installation, then put them back in place.

Only if you choose to power the light kit with a battery box. Batteries are not included. For kits that support USB power, you can connect them to a compatible USB power source instead.
