Light kit for Home Alone 21330 - Briksmax 2.0

With Home Alone being one of my childhoods favorite xmas movies I needed to get this set off course. But adding the light kit just made it into that ultimate Christmas lit set and spirit. The interior of the house also comes to life through the windows with all the lights and it just made me feel part of the movie again. This was my first Bricksmax and although the labour is much more extensive than lighttailing i love how wonderfull everything is incoroporated into the build and easily disconnects when you take the floors apart. Very much worth the extra money and labour for this large set!

This was my third Briksmax 2.0 set, and this was impressive. The Home Alone set alone is an expert build, and the lighting kit takes patience, but I promise you that it will be worth it. It looks incredible when it's all put together, and I have received so many compliments. The specific lights included in the kit help highlight the many details of the lego set, which makes me appreciate this even more.

While it is recommended to add it after the LEGO set has been built, I decided to try to install it while building the set for the first time (the kit came first before the LEGO set). For me, it was a little easier to maneuver the wires and set up more as I built it. However, it required me to install it out of order. If you like reading the instructions and putting them together in order, then I wouldn't go this route. If you do decide to install the kit as you build, take the time to plan out how you will do it. Either way, it will look amazing!

This is my second time I’ve used a third party brand for Legos. My first experience was Titanic from a different brand. This particular set is version 2.0 for Home Alone. The biggest detail is each LED is on its own power lead versus being daisy chained. I like this idea much better. It’s more power leads and you don’t have to deal with a wire being too tight or short. I love the included details!

This is a really good kit for the Home Alone house. Not overly complicated. I did have to look up videos when i got to the underside of the house to figure out where wires went. Price was very good too.

This is one of the most beautiful kit ever! There is so many lights you can get a room bright at night with this one. Long project but well worth it!!
