The hub is a great way to combine models - hit one switch and four or five models light up. This way you don't need to keep turning on battery packs. What would make these perfect would be if LIGHTAILING sold a power supply that could power the hub. You could then have the models on a wall outlet timer and turn them all on at once - no need for the battery pack.
Amazing addition to the lego! I wish they would sell the sets with lights, but I’m glad loghttailing is here to pick up this opportunity!! I luckily had only built half the lego set when I ordered the lights, so I was able to build the lego with the light set as I went which made it so much easier! I saw some reviews saying taking apart their lego set hurt/wasn’t fun. I recommend building the set with the lights if you have the patience to wait for the lights to get there like I did. 10/10 would buy another!
